Basic Human Anatomy is designed especially for anyone studying Kinesiology, Massage, Aromatherapy, Bowen Technique, Shiatsu, Touch For Health, Aura-Soma, Reflexology or other involvement in bodywork. It brings fresh meaning to your studies in every modality.
Basic Human Anatomy offers you an easy-to-learn introduction to anatomy, which can be built on through more advanced courses. At the same time, it provides accurate technical information and terminology in a manner that makes it simple to grasp, even by people with no medical knowledge at all. It includes a generous amount of related physiology and pathology.
You study Basic Human Anatomy at home and at your own rate. Learning is by way of study material, activities and worksheets. There is no textbook to purchase, although we would encourage you to read as widely as you can to broaden your understanding. Depending on your learning speed and your background experience, you should allow up to 120 hours of study time. This includes time for the Basic Human Anatomy Certificate of Competency home assessment.
Start any time. There is no set timetable. No compulsory assignments. Simply mail us your completed worksheets, one or two units at a time, with any queries you have, for prompt marking and helpful comment.
